The Tunnel Department of BESHTECH has well qualified and experienced personnel who have considerable expertise in the engineering of Tunnel Design. The engineering includes Feasibility, Planning, Analysis and Preliminary Design for Tender, Detail Design for Execution, Detailing, Construction-Supervision, Quantity Surveying, Costing, Project Management, Value Engineering and Management during servicing.

This Department operates with state-of-the-art techniques in fully computerized environment. The Tunnel Division is well equipped with modern hardware and advanced software.

This Division works in close co-ordination with the other in-house divisions such as Highway Alignments and Geo-Technical Division. The expertise of Highway Division is to design the Tunnel alignments, geometrics and the Geo-Technical Division to evolve optimized solutions for the quality of Tunnel Rocks in order to utilize for optimal solutions.

This Division has also carried out designs of Tunnel such as Sela Tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh and others.
